Rotary Clubs of Bingham and District and Vale of Belvoir
Two secondary schools and one large primary in our area wearing “Purple for Polio” on Tuesday 23rd February.
We have taken assemblies at half the primary schools in the area and invited the pupils to join in a finger painting or acrostic poem (on the word POLIO)competition prizewinners to go in our annual Art Exhibition at Easter.
Pub Quiz for Polio, Tuesday 23rd Feb. Horse and Plough, Bingham, 8pm.
Lunch for Polio at the Yeung Sing Restaurant, Thursday 25th Feb, £15 everyone welcome- 70 tickets sold so far.E mail for reservations.
Rotarian in Bingham Club is Mayor of Bingham this year and is having her hair streaked purple for the week for sponsorship. £550 raised already.
Information stall at Bingham Market on 25th, booked the Buttercross which will be decorated with purple balloons.
Hard work, but a lot of fun. Hope to get lots of positive photographs.

We have most clubsof the district participating in some sort of event this week There is a large event in Nottingham City Centre
