The past 2 weeks I have been particularly proud to be a Rotarian. Being part of a world wide project to eradicate Polio has been amazing. We have four very successful clubs in Ipswich, all who do a fantastic job in our community but to date all clubs have been fairly independent, having infrequent contact. This project has brought us all together with one purpose, which everyone is very motivated by. We have raised the profile of Rotary enormously in Ipswich, so this project will have a huge ripple effect locally and internationally. My thanks go out to all members of the 4 clubs who have made this project such a success and enabled me as Coordinator to make it such a success. I hope all our clubs in the surrounding area have been equally succesful. There are a few days left when we would welcome everyone to pop into our shop in the Buttermarket and have a friendly chat.
